Originally from Lafayette, Louisiana, Camille developed her passion for movement through a 16 year competitive dance career, including time with the Saint Thomas More “Sparklers” dance team, receiving multiple UDA National Championship titles. After experiencing and rehabilitating several dance related injuries herself, she discovered her passion for physical therapy and injury prevention.
Camille earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology from Louisiana State University before completing her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. She then practiced in Nashville, specializing in manual therapy, functional dry needling, headache / TMJ pain, and dance medicine.
She has experience treating professional dancers, including work with Nashville Ballet, as well as dancers across a variety of styles and levels (studio dancers, high school dance teams, college dance majors, adult ballroom dancers). With a strong interest in women’s health and performance-based rehabilitation, Camille is excited to return home to Louisiana and bring her experience to the Evolve team.
